Character Profiles

In the lair of the Brotherhood of the Blade, a young, lady duck with blonde hair, sat quietly at a small table.  The library, she had decided, was her favorite place to do her work.  Not many others came into the library, so it was always nice and quiet.  It was the perfect place to plan out her next heist or assassin attack.  Not that she enjoyed killing, but to her, it was a job, and a well-paying job at that.
On this particular day, she was plotting her next kill.  An anonymous duck had paid her to knock off Alexander DeL'eau, the billionaire owner of the DeL'eau Waterworks Company.
"Geesh," the girl thought to herself.  "I figured this guy had enemies.  But, to actually be on someone's hit list?"  She scratched her head, staring at a piece of paper with writing on it.  "For the amount they're paying me, they must really want him dead."
"Isabella!" a male voice suddenly echoed through the large room.
Isabella rolled her eyes and looked up calmly, unaffected, but a bit annoyed.  "You bellowed, Quaid?"  The older duck strolled over, frowning.  "You do know this is a library, right?" the girl continued.
"Yeah, but come on now.  Who, here actually follows rules?" Quaid challenged her.
      "Good point," mumbled Bella.
"Hey, what's that?" Quaid asked Bella curiously, watching her quickly shove papers into a folder.
"Nothing," she replied just as quick.  "Just my next job."  Closing her folder, she looked back up at him, still looking a bit annoyed.
"Oh, well it's gonna have to wait."  The elder gray, duck stood with his arms folded.  "I've got a more important job for you."
"It depeneds....Is it worth my while?"  Isabella stared him down.  One way or another, she would mke him pay for disturbing her 'peace and quiet time'.
"I can make it worth your while," he grinned slyly.
"You dirty, old duck!"  The look on her face said it all.
Quaid blinked his eyes wide/  "What?!" he exclaimed.  "That's not what I meant!"  Then he through his hands up and sighed out of frustration.  "You're gonna make me pay you for this, aren't ya?"
"Yup."  She looked him square in the face.  "This particular job's paying me good.  You're gonna hafta pay double, if I'm to put it off for yours."
Her leader narrowed his eyes and growled slightly.  He thought he shouldn't have to pay her.  "I practically raised her," Quaid reminded himself.  Though, she was in a rare mood today, so he decided he wasn't going to push her to her limit.  Quaid stood there, staring at her and twitching.
"Fine," he quipped.  There was just no other way around it.  He didn't dare ask anyone else to do it.  Bella was the best, no doubt about it.
"Alright, what do you need me to do?"  Bella folded her arms, looking at him.
"Find and follow my son, T.J...."
"Okay...where do I start and why?"  She looked at him cautiously, yet she was a bit curious.
"On Earth and for personal reasons," the elder duck answered her.  One thing Quaid always managed to do, was keep his personal life and thieving life seperate.
"Whoa!  Wait....Earth?!"  Bella stepped back, hands up.  "No, I don't think so."
      "And why not?"
"They've banned humans from Puckworld for a reason.  Now you want me to go where they thrive?!" she spat.  To Bella, this was not a good idea.  The more she thought about it, the more she wanted to change her mind.  "What's T.J doing there anyways?  Has he lost his mind, like you?"
The gray duck stood frowning at her, displeased.  "No, he hasn't lost his mind, just his respect for his parents' wishes."  He turned away, scratching his chin in thought.  "We think we know why he went there," Quaid paused, turning back to Bella.  "Which is why I need you to follow him and keep him out of trouble."
Bella sighed, unsure of what to do.  "Alright, but if I do this, you owe me BIG time."
"Yeah, yeah, I know," Quaid waved her off.  "I figured as much," he said and tossed her a bag of money.  "Call it a 'down payment'."
The female duck caught the bag with ease and peeked inside to make sure.  "Deal," she replied, looking up at him.  "Just one thing though, how do I get there?"  She had an unsettling feeling when she noticed her leader grinning broadly.
"My dear," Quaid started, "you forget I play a part in the military.  Don't worry, I can get you to Earth with little to no problems."
